Adrian Peterson accused the New Orleans Saints of “dirty play”. Peterson said the Saints were purposely trying to injurs his sprained left ankle in their game last Sunday. Peterson finally made his return after having the previous three weeks off due to this sprain. He went 10 carries for 60 yards. Peterson said he expected the defense to target his ankle while trying to bring him down. But, Peterson took particular offense to one play when cornerback Jabari Greer twisted his ankle in the pile up.
Is this what the NFL has come to, people complaining and crying about how the other team is playing. I can see if it was Ndamukong Suh, who has more then once intentionally tried to cause injury on another player. Nobody else has been proven themself to be in that low class of playing. Yet, week after week we have someone complaining on how teams are playing. Do we need to go to playing two-hand touch football? Maybe some flag football?
Was he really not expecting them to try to cause pain? I mean come on, you knew they were going to bring it and bring it hard. If Peterson wasn’t ready to play, then he shouldn’t of played. If he knew he wasn’t 100%, instead of being a little cry baby, then he should of just sat out again. It had been three weeks and the Minnesota Vikings have only won 2 games. What was the point of him even taking the chance, it was stupid and uncalled for. Now I have to write about this cry baby people and the fans have had to read and hear about it.
I am here just to let the New Orleans fans know, there wasn’t any “dirty play”. Vikings fans, if you think Peterson got a little dinged up against the Saints, wait until the Redskins really lay into Peterson this week. Redskins fan, go ahead, cheer for your team to put this cry baby out the game.
